I immigrated to the United States with my family back in 2021 as a refugee due to an ongoing civil war in my country, Myanmar. I transferred to J.J Pearce as a senior while my friends I grew up with graduated back home. I took a gap year after my senior year to work full-time to pay for my tuition after being accepted into UTD. Able to work diligently and efficiently to complete the tasks given. I push myself to work long-hour shifts, such as 12-hour shifts for CVS, such as working a full 8-hour shift for my home store, afterward going to a different store for another 4 hours. While working inside the pharmacy, I can fill medications promptly while helping out with drive-thru and patients who come inside the store to pick up their medications respectfully. In addition to assisting patients with their COVID test procedures at the drive-thru. While at my current position at Boars Head, I start early in the morning to prep ingredients for the sandwiches, ensure the fresh-slice counter is filled, and check for expired packages. Eager to learn and adapt to any work environment in a short period of time.
