Babysitting Experience

I've been babysitting for 11 years. I have babysat children of all ages, most frequently between the ages of 8 months-12 years. I help the children with their homework, make dinner, entertain the children, and put them to bed.

Camp Experience

Rec Crew at Lakeview Camp in Maypearl Texas, for 2 weeks July 10-28, 2019 and July 10-28, 2020 and July 9-27, 2021. I did Rec Crew for three summers. Rec Crew is a position at the Assemblies of God North Texas District church camp for 5 kids camp weeks. I worked in the product room as customer service and helped with team games. I tallied the points and delivered team placements every day of each camp one year. We also led games and activities, hung out during free time and led worship. We prayed for and with the kids, leaders, and pastors. God gave me several opportunities to individually pray for and speak life into several campers and other team members.

Missions Experience

SAGU's missions department- FOCUS, Scheduled to lead a trip to Savannah, Georgia to help the missionaries there with their grocery outreach, boys and girls ministries, as well as homeless outreaches before COVID forced me to cancel the trip. I also led a missions trip to Rosebud, South Dakota where my team led youth and children's outreach. We were also camp counselors and speakers.

World Outreach Committee

I was on the World Outreach Committee at SAGU in the Southwestern Missions Association in 2022, where I helped to choose and train the next group of SAGU mission trip leaders. In this role, I was a small group leader, I taught some training sessions as well as helped answer any questions that students may have had about planning a trip.

Daycare Teacher

Mother's Day Out and Faith Child Development Center- I was a daycare teacher at Freedom Church in Carrollton during the summer through the Mother's Day Out Program, then FCDC in Arlington. I taught in the >1 year old class, 1+ year old, 2 year old, Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st-3rd grade, and 4th-6th grade classes. Each of these positions brought challenges in how to nurture the gifting of children as well as schedule differences and working with many personality types. In this position, I learned how to be flexible and an excellent communicator. I taught, entertained, fed, and put down for a nap, children of different ages everyday.
