As a pharmacy technician i make sure i provide great customer service to our patients from drop offs, picks up, taking phone calls and ringing patients up. As a pharmacy technician you have many roles and one of the important ones is working with patients every day closely and offering them a great customer service from when they walk in to the pharmacy until they leave. Throughout those years i have learned many things, from typing prescriptions to filling medications and also ringing up patients. I help with pick ups front and drive thru in between i answer phone calls and help in the drop off areas as well, pretty much we have to know how to multitask. As a pharmacy tech i work daily with doctors offices and insurances submitting prior auths to requesting refill request. Offering vaccines is very important as well not only flu season but throughout the entire year to make sure we keep our patients up to date on vaccines to taking care of them in any way we can. Once a month we pull expire inventory and face our aisle . We do daily orders for our next day shipment and make sure we have medications in stock. At the end of the day we take care of will call as well.
