Dear Prospective Employer:

Please accept this letter as my recommendation of Francesca Bucur for her employment with your company as a prospective home health aide and/or eldercare caregiver.

I first met Francesca in March of 2021, while she was caring for my late brother, Joseph Moura. My brother lived alone, having lost his wife in 2016, and had no children. All of his siblings live out of State, in New Jersey, Georgia, and Texas, and were unable to provide the constant care he required. My brother had suffered with congestive heart failure and Parkinson’s disease, and had been discharged from the hospital under the hospice program. At that time, he was unable to care for himself, and was completely bedridden. Francesca was instrumental in providing him not only with his day to day needs of meals, feeding him, bathing, dressing, but under the direction of his physicians, Francesca likewise administered his medications and implemented a home physical therapy program which actually improved his muscle control. Periodically during the weeks that passed, she was able to assist him in getting up out of bed and standing in place. She likewise was proficient in the use of the Hoyer Lift, which would lift him out of bed and into the wheelchair, which added to my brother’s quality of life. She was always positive and encouraging, and due to her care, I believe that my brother rebounded, and lived six months longer than what had been initially forecast by his doctors.

During the six month period that followed, my brother was encouraged; and truly loved Francesca as if she were a daughter. He was able to celebrate his 78th birthday with family and friends, and with the assistance of her family, Francesca was even able to assist my brother in moving his bed to the outside of his home on the 4th of July so that he could enjoy the fireworks display from his home, along with the joys experienced by her children. That was truly an incredible day and my brother was so happy, and all of this is attributed to Francesca.

In my opinion, Francesca is the benchmark, not only of a home health caregiver, but an extraordinary loving and caring human being, and I find that my family was truly blessed to have her in the care of my beloved brother. I strongly recommend that you consider her for any prospective position you may have available as I am sure you will find her to be an exceptional asset.
