Main job responsibilities include loading and unloading of luggage/baggage out of aircraft cargo bins. Secondary duties are to service for potable water, empty lavatory waste, clean the cabin, marshall/wing walk the planes into and out of the gates on time. Other rolls involve bagroom and driving baggage to the correct areas needed efficiently and safely.

Job duties include using operational control to dispatch releases to flights safely and efficiently for day-to-day flight operation

compute the needed amount of fuel required for safe completion of the flight according to FAA FARs minimum fuel

requirements, type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, and weather conditions. Updates the pilot in

command of any significant changes to weather or flight plan and can recommend flight plan alternates such as changing

course, altitude, and if required, choose an alternate landing location in the interest of safety and economy. This planning

could include delaying a flight or canceling flights if unsafe conditions threaten the safety of aircraft and passengers.
