I had the privilege of representing my county in the Junior Olympics as a young, committed swimmer. The Junior Olympics was an intense competition that drew the best young competitors from all around the nation. Months of intense training, early mornings, and many laps in the pool later, my incredible feat of winning a silver medal in the 100-meter Fin swimming freestyle event was the result of my hard work.
