Hired on to perform responsible and legal alcohol service to guests over the age of 21.

Hotel Covington entrusted me, given my proven past experience, to maintain their premium level service to guests entering The Madison & Hotel Covington at all times.

My various job duties, included:

• Maintain guest focus while performing all assigned duties before, during or after an event.
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality guests’ experience.
• Set up, tear down, and clean banquet areas for events.
• Handle tables, chairs, linens, tableware and décor carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Always follow safe food handling guidelines.
• Prepared custom drink orders by accurately measuring and mixing house ingredients.
• Practiced safe work habits, wearing protective equipment and consistently following MSDS and OSHA standards.

Worked collaboratively with bartenders and the warehouse to ensure concession locations are well stocked with product and food items for serving customers. Kept an eye on dwindling product and restock as quickly and efficiently as possible when needed or requested. Assisted with maintaining a clean concession area before and after the show. Was efficient, forward thinking, observant and possess a can-do attitude.

Overtime, I was given the opportunity to become a bartender in Riverbend's Concessison's stands with the duties of serving beverages to premium seat clients in the full-service VIP restaurant and backstage patio. Other duties included greeting customers, taking their order, and often times assisting them with food selection, while preparing and serving drinks to the highest level of an elevated dining experience through exceptional service.

My duties included:

• Learned how to make wide variety of mixed drinks.
• Replaced empty kegs and soda syrups.
• Maintained adequate levels of condiments and well-stocked drink stations to keep service flowing smoothly.
• Collected trash, wiped up spills, and removed trays to maintain fresh and clean customer areas.
• Restocked ice, condiments, and snacks.
• Assisted in setting up and breaking down bar area for special events.
• Restocked glassware, cleaned tables and organized supplies to meet demanding trading periods throughout shift.
• Greeted customers and provided friendly, knowledgeable service.
