My name is Abubakar Nyako. I am a high school senior who attends New Designs Charter School, located in South Los Angeles. My ultimate goal is to improve the energy sectors around the world more efficient, sustainable, and affordable for everyone. To do this I am seeking and currently looking into higher education at multiple institutes in pursuit of a nuclear physics degree. I am a highly motivated student holding multiple academic achievements including several Advanced Placement classes.
I assisted in helping a physical education class by organizing equipment and managing student. This experience taught me valuable lessons in communication, managerial duties, and more general skills that are useful in the work place, especially retail.
