Look for defects in panels that were missed by blow detector and finger joint operator, look for mis-crowds, set glue heads to panel fingers to insure proper glue is applied to panels, work with finger jointer to achieve proper finger lengths for tight crowding with out gaps or misalignment, pull proper length qc panels for qc department to test, moniter glue spread and swap buckets for glue drip

Assisted crowder with set ups, covered crowder for break and time off, drove forklift for infeeds, loaded and unloaded blow detector, unloaded trucks, squared up units for 2nd run through, wrapped "33" units

Coordinated with department supervisors to insure correct product was delivered on time, intake material from trucks and trains, used measurement tools such as tape measures, precision calipers and gloss meter. Used mathematical equations to convert linear footage to square footage and board footage and from board footage to square footage or linear footage. Organized areas for incoming material and material coming back from departments. Took part in meetings with management to coordinate what material and deadlines needed to be met with current material levels and incoming material, made suggestions for alternate material for similar product. Load and unload kilns.
