I am currently working as a delivery driver for DoorDash in the Lynchburg area. This job entails:

• Safely operating a motor vehicle in order to deliver orders in a safe and timely manner
• Work directly with restaurant staff in order to ensure orders are completely fulfilled and ready in a timely manner
• Communicate directly with the customers in order to make sure deliveries reach the customer on time and exactly how the customer would like

Assisted in maintaining residential landscapes by mowing lawns and trimming weeds. Supported various landscaping tasks to enhance lawn appearance. Collaborated with team members and customers to ensure timely completion of yard work and great quality of work. This job entailed:

• Communicating directly with clients ensuring for good quality of work and great customer service
• Learning to safely operate equipment on the job site
• Managing money for my business and properly budgeting for any expenses

I worked at Greene’s Seafood for three and a half years. Working at Greene’s provided me with many work place skills. Working at Greene’s my job entailed:

-being a host and directly communicating with customers to ensure all customers are greeted at the door and are seated in a quick and timely manner

-Waiting tables and ensuring that each and every customer has a very enjoyable experience by maintaining great hospitality and service for all customers

-Working in the kitchen to ensure that food is prepared safely and in a clean and sanitary way while doing so in a timely manner

-Washing dishes and making sure every dish is cleaned in a way that directly follows safety regulations
