I have always wanted to become a vet from a very young age. That changed over the years from finding things that interested me more than animals, but as I got older, I started to see the mishandling of animals. That made me feel as though I should focus more on how I can be a voice for animals, which led to getting me back on track to doing what I think I have always been doing, advocating and caring for animals.
Over the years, I have grown to understand and appreciate nature and the animals around that, whether speaking about the conservation of the earth or getting a stray cat from the side of the road. I have always been the person to lend a helping hand, not just to animals but also to people. Through that, I have learned how to be empathetic, a critical thinker, and gain the curiosity of animals. Overall my love for animals has always been there. It took me a while to see and appreciate that. However, now I understand how they are crucial to people and our planet. That's why I feel as though I should be a part of the animal community, even if it is in a small way. Anything helps, and that's what I truly want, to see animals.
