  • Work with Stakeholders to coordinate meetings for Senior Management to ensure facility availability as well as proper equipment for necessary presentations

  • As a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO) I am responsible for leading at minimum 7-10 screening officers as well as new hires and transfer/trainees undergoing certification
  • On a daily basis it is the requirement of the active job duties to distribute and balance tasks and workloads to meet the needs of the Checkpoint and/or Checked Baggage work locations based on the skill level and workflow
  • Regular active and open communication and input is constantly being provided by myself with the Supervisory Transportation Security Officer (STSO) as well as the Transportation Screening Manager (TSM) in regard to matters concerning employee performance and possible awards
  • Implementation of proper security screening procedures in keeping with TSA objectives and the current Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
  • Assist with the preparation and completion of incident reports by relaying the necessary information with attention to the details
  • Actively and promptly respond to possible emergency, breach, and security situations while adhering to the standards of the SOP
  • Fervently coordinate and work with On-The-Job Training (OJT) coaches and training staff team to ensure that the appropriate resources are being made available to officers to establish the most effective screening process.
