- Volunteered in the PACU area of the hospital, visiting children who have been admitted into the hospital and bringing them toys and company to make their stay a little more comfortable.
- Responsibilities as a leader included helping organize new volunteer orientations, helping with scheduling, and planning certain events for volunteers to engage with the hospital.
- Worked as a college intern in the BMT unit, doing patient care tasks such as vitals, medical care rounds, restocking of supplies, and more.
- Gained more insight into how medical units work and run, learned many patient care skills.
