• Chattanooga Police Department Ride Along, 06/29/26, 3pm-1am, Officer Bruce, Completed a patrol ride along with the Chattanooga Police Department to gain firsthand exposure to daily law enforcement operations, officer responsibilities, and community policing practices., Observed officer decision making, communication strategies, and responses to calls for service while gaining insight into the challenges and responsibilities of patrol work., Developed a greater understanding of law enforcement procedures, public safety operations, and the importance of professionalism, communication, and community relationships., Gained perspective on the role of patrol officers in responding to community needs, maintaining public safety, and connecting individuals with appropriate resources., Experienced first person overall intense situations including traffic stops, car accidents, stolen vehicle investigations, civil matters.
