Diller Teen Fellowship (2023-2024)

• Selected to participate in an immersive Jewish teen leadership program connecting 600 students from 32 communities around the world (Israel, US, Canada, Mexico and Australia) to build international connections among peers in the Jewish community. Culminates in a 3-week summer program in Israel.
• Co-Chair Spirit and Bonding Committee, creating and facilitating team building activities as designed to strengthen relationships among program participants during weekend retreats and throughout the year.
• Develop leadership skills, explore Jewish identity, engage in social action.

B-Flats, Belmont Hill School (2024-Current)

• Member of an all-male A capella group and perform at school concerts, community events, and off-campus engagements.
• Represent Belmont Hill through public performances, fostering school spirit and community engagement.
• Collaborate with fellow vocalists to rehearse and perform a diverse repertoire of music.

Peer Leaders, Belmont Hill School (2025-Current)

• Admitted through an application and interview into a small group of leaders that help out with the younger kids at school.
• Meet with 7th and 8th monthly throughout the year to talk about diversity, navigating high school, and other social topics addressing teenage life.
• Serve as a familiar face and friend on campus to younger students.
• In charge of a leading an advisory of 8-10 students and coming with lesson plans for the day.

Melvion Menches, Belmont Hill School (2022-Current) Co-Leader

• A student club that represents a small Jewish population, fostering inclusion and cultural understanding within the school community.
• Organized educational programs and hosted open discussions to increase awareness of Judaism and address current news.
• Coordinated and hosted guest speakers to share diverse Jewish perspectives and experiences.
• Initiated and established Belmont Hill’s annual Shabbat dinner, bringing together all students, faculty, and community members to join in a tradition that is sacred to all of the club members families.

Sustainability Club, Belmont Hill School (2024-Current) Co-Leader

• Brought home information that I learned at The Island School about how to be sustainable and taught them to students at my school.
• Engaged in trash pickups locally with peers at my school.
• Co-Leader and mainly focus on sustainability at the institutional level.
• Did a carbon audit of our school to figure out how we can reduce our CO2 output into the world and to become an example for surrounding schools.
