  • Texas A&M Student Nurse at Shoal Creek Psychiatric facility. Gained experience doing clinical interviewing with the patients. Clinical interviewing involved talking with the patients about why they were in the facility and giving the patients an opportunity to open up and talk about anything they wished. This was an opportunity to practice active listening skills and empathy.
