At Safeway, I pride myself in being a Multi-clerk and having the ability to make someone’s day on the check stand by providing a quick, while still accurate and welcoming service. I see customer service as an absolute priority over everything. Problems like not having a shelf faced are temporary issues, while leaving a guest unsatisfied with the time it takes for them to get service will cut off the chance of creating a lifelong customer. I also pride myself in the fact that I am trusted with controlling how the front end of the store is ran. Being given a loaner manager override card takes a lot of trust, and I do not take it for granted. I am also trusted with leading my fellow associates on their positions in the front end, and on how their breaks will be taken.
