  • Trained field/title Security Specialist II, developed understanding with databases such as SIMS, DISS (formally JPAS), SWFT, and DPS
  • Working with Microsoft Word and other systems to build visitation schedules, schedule/keep track of upcoming visits, schedule conference center access, as well as continue with day-to-day duties/responsibilities.
  • SIMS: Entering contracts, when prompted in order to provide secure, electronic copy for those required to have access to them.
  • Assisting with our on-site clearances held by BAE employees organizing, filing, creating, setting up appointments to be briefed/debriefed and assuring annual mandatory training is completed by all cleared employees.
  • We have also worked to debrief those who are no longer required/need clearances to minimize cleared employees at our facility to only those who need security clearances.
  • DPS (Denied Party Screening): Run background investigations on each person visiting facility prior to or at their arrival.
  • Worked closely with on-site contracted guards on site, as well as with my two supervisors to assist in creating and issuing badges for employees/contractors.
  • Work closely with on-site contracted Allied Universal staff in sign-in/out of visitors, delivery admittance and departures, perimeters (when prompted; seldom), incoming/outgoing baggage checks, monitoring surveillance, and other tasks as needed.
  • Processing employees on applying for their CAC, whether to access Military Installations, access information, etc.
  • Reaching out to all employees and contracted employees who are at their 6-month reverification period for their issues CAC and complete their application for them, sending it for approval afterwards.
  • Work closely with all Security staff/force to ensure yearly superior/similar rating from our contacts at DCSA.
  • Accounting for, filing and organizing each visit profile (VIP, International, Contractor, Deliveries, etc.) for on-site storage for if they are asked for during our yearly audit.
  • (Former/present) member of Employee Engagement Committees and SHE-LC
  • Both of which were created to maintain moral and assist in event planning.
  • I have assisted and now take lead on our bi-annual Adopt-a-Highway clean-up event and have for seven years.

Working with Communications to ensure the flyer for AAH Event is up-to-date and is reaching the employee platform in a timely fashion to gather employees. Working with PennDot contact to ensure proper time/date for knowledge of event and pick-up of collected items. Briefing the volunteers on safety: providing synopsis of do's and don'ts, handing out safety equipment (i.e. gloves, safety vests, trash bags, etc.)
