Work History

Front End Operations Supervisor

Home Depot
Toledo, OH
04.2024 - Current
  • Operational Metric Acceleration: I Independently lead a high-volume Front End and Pro Desk footprint. We achieved current (YTD) consumer credit goals and are continuing to cross-develop teams on commercial credit.
  • Specialty Department Intervention: I provide peer support to a new leader on a team being currently rebuilt and developing new associates to personally execute department standards and behaviors. I train associates on phone sales, commercial credit, taking orders through the bid room, mixed phone sales, contacting vendors, partnering with the PASA on building quotes for future jobs for high-priority top accounts; helping implement strategies to enhance order efficiency and customer satisfaction; while continuing to partner with new Pro XM and supervisor to best assist and bridge any performance/knowledge gaps.
  • Cross Functional Resource Optimization: I have restructured labor coverage, and reappropriated resources in four distinct departments (Front End, Pro, Paint, and Garden). In a 15-minute window, I managed re-routing a pro associate scheduled for watering Garden and back filling each department with two of our cashiers. This gave the Pro supervisor opportunity to be with his new associate, and cashiers opportunity to continue cross development training in paint and garden during a day with high call off rates.
  • Facilitated a private conversation with an associate experiencing burnout to address workload concerns. Adjusted schedules to alleviate pressure on a part-time associate. Enabled the associate to take a restorative day off, promoting improved performance upon return.
  • Asset Protection Partnership: I collaborated closely with store AP to identify and neutralize high shrink behaviors. I developed the Front-End team on all accuracy behaviors and standards executing over $47,000 in recoveries (LY). We have doubled our efficiency securing over $41,250 into our 75% tier in recoveries (HTD) 2026.
  • Lead and Head Cashier Accountability: I Established behavioral and performance benchmarks for Head-Cashiers, ensuring continuous operational alignment, Front end readiness, and sustained tracking of store-wide compliance metrics. We work together every day to partner and grow as a team. I have an open door policy that every associate can come to me with concerns, ideas, and game-plans to help us implement and produce what is best for everyone that not only aligns with our values but the ASK of the business.
  • Personality Based Architecture: I designed an adaptive, inclusive coaching model based on individual associate's strengths; maximized store wide productivity by optimizing staff for specific metric strengths via GET, LTSA Surveys, credit, and accuracy. While I proceeded developing outgoing talent into personal champions of their strengths. I have training and lead multiple associates who have been promoted from lot to inside of the store, and from cashiers into merchandising departments. I want to help all associates be the best they can be not only for themselves but for the customers that come into our store.
