• Under the direction of the Project Director, the Administrative Assistant has the full responsibility to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual records of the all required balances to be documented on reports. This position requires a creative ability in the formation of newsletters, agendas, revising form and knowledge of accounting procedures. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining a positive attitude in all communication with the public, especially the Foster Grandparents. Administrative Assistant must be computer literate.

This is a position inter gal to the overall operation of Human Resources Department Corporation's CACFP. The primary function of this position are to help ensure program compliance, direct claims process, perform clerical duties, oversee and conduct monitoring visits. This organization supports child care providers by: sponsoring the CACFP, a federally funded program of the US Department of Agriculture, intended to improve the nutritional habits of children in day care; offering training to meet state licensing requirements and to improve the nutritional habits of children in day care; offering training to meet state licensing requirements and to improve skills required by providers to care for children.

Assist the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities with daily living activities at the person's home or in a care facility. Duties performed at a place of residence may include keeping house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes) and preparing meals. May provide assistance at non-residential care facilities. May advise families, the elderly, convalescents, and persons with disabilities regarding such things as nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities.

Assist in providing client services in a wide variety of fields, such as psychology, rehabilitation, or social work, including support for families. May assist clients in identifying and obtaining available benefits and social and community services. May assist social workers with developing, organizing, and conducting program to prevent and resolve problems relevant to substance abuse, human relationships, rehabilitation, or dependent care.

Guard inmates in penal or rehabilitative institutions in accordance with established regulations and procedures. May guard prisoners in transit between jail, courtroom, prison, or other point. Includes deputy sheriffs and police who spend the majority of their time guarding prisoners in correctional institutions.
