As a client advocate I learned various techniques in assisting clients experiencing emotional distress related to ptsd, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. I am proficient in skills such as the 5,4,3,2,1 method, cold plunge regulation, box breathing, and mindfulness. Through this work I was exposed to people from all walks of life who had experienced both small and very intense traumas. My goal is to continue to provide care to those in trauma recovery and pursue greater education to be an even more effective mental health care professional.
