Allison Hammons

I am the stay at home mother of four children, ages eleven to six years old. Three of my children have special needs, including Autism and Down Syndrome.

Within the last eleven years I have been the primary caretaker for my children's needs. Which includes, but is not limited to, Medical/educational documentation, Problem solving in crisis situations, and maintaining a thorough schedule to meet deadline demands.

Each child having various needs means that I am able to sufficiently multi-task, work quickly through even the most difficult situations, and maintain healthy professional relationships.

Two of my children are sensory seekers, therefore, I have had to maintain a clean home within the demands of seeking sensory input. I have cleaned in situations that would make any human uncomfortable and have performed the task with minimal effort. Ensuring that the environment was completed and ready for use in a timely manner.

As a special needs mother I have been in severe situations that required a level head in order to thoroughly execute the appropriate plan of action. I have learned to maintain a level and clear thinking mind while working in difficult situations. Allowing the matter to be discussed and properly sorted efficiently and appropriately.

In this time, the tasks asked upon me have been as traditional as homemaker duties to the more difficult of medical emergencies. In that time I have strengthened skills of critical thinking, time management, and efficiency in tasks. I am able to handle a myriad of situations that require little or all of my attention without hesitation.

I have been the lead document reporter for eleven years and have maintained excellent organizational skills. As well as thorough note taking to ensure no detail goes without note.

As a member of the sales team I executed sales, maintained sales racks, and assisted customers in both inquiry and directional location of items. This position was a seasonal position that only lasted through the Holiday season.
