- I restrain animals for the Drs during exams. Perform blood draws, IV catheter placement, skin scrapes, urine collection, and other laboratory procedures. Take and restrain animals for X-rays. Assist with surgery prep including shaving and helping the Dr intubate. Monitor a patient while they are under anesthesia. Triage clients and their pets to rooms, and gather a basic history on why we are seeing the pet today. Type notes regarding the appointment and any follow up tests needed. Give vaccines and document when and where the vaccine was given. Clean the kennel and monitor any patients while they are hospitalized. Call to follow up with clients who's pets had surgery the day before.

- I would take patient history from the owner, and restrain while the doctors were performing a physical exam. I would assist with lab work, blood draws, ear slides, urine collection, and other laboratory procedures. I would assist with taking radiographs as well as restraining patients to get the proper views needed. During appointment, I would trim nails, administer vaccines, fill prescriptions or preventatives, and go over the instructions with the owner. I assisted in euthanasias by placing IV catheters, and informing owners of their options with their pets' remains. Monitored pets during and after surgery, along with any patients staying in the hospital that day. I helped administer any treatments the hospitalized patients would need that day.

I also ensured any bad or damaged product was accounted for, and disposed of correctly. I kept displays stocked and neatly arranged to improve customers' buying experience. - While working on the floor, I checked customers out at the register, assisted in helping customers find items in the store, and helped customers who needed bags carried to their cars, and heavy objects lifted on the counter. As a stock person I organized out of date items and replenished the shelves with more product where it was needed. At customer service I answered the phone, took returns, answered any customer questions, problem solved solutions when the customer was not satisfied with their purchase. I also printed money orders, ran the lottery machine, and paid out winning tickets. At the end of the night, I would make sure all the profits from both the lottery and the store were all accounted for, and lock it in the safe for the store manager in the morning.

- I performed physical exams and took down patient history. I relayed this information to the Veterinarian, and restrained the patient when the doctor did their exam. I gave any necessary vaccines, toe nail trims if owners requested one, and performed blood draws commonly for Feline Triple, or 4DX test. I filled any prescribed medication for that appointment, and sold flea and tick medication. I checked the patient out, and rescheduled for booster vaccines or follow up appointment if necessary. I cleaned the exam rooms in between each appointment. I have also ordered and restrained for radiographs.
- On surgery days, I prepared surgery suite, gathered instruments for surgery, prepped and scrubbed patients for surgery, intubated the patient, placed IV catheters, prepared IV fluid bags, and monitored the patient during and after surgery.
- At the end of the day, I swept, mopped, and vacuumed the floors, dusted and cleaned tabletop surfaces, and loaded and unloaded laundry.
