  • Blankets for CASA: Learn to sew and make blankets for children in foster care.

Accomplishments

  • Youth for Understanding Japanese Exchange Scholarship: Foreign Exchange program. Spent two months in Japan, living with a host family, going to school, and learning about their culture (June 2019-August 2019). This was a difficult yet very rewarding experience.
  • Community Outreach Project: Research and Prepare a presentation about Cervical Cancer to educate young women in our community. This project was presented to the Idaho State Softball team and through survey statistics, there was a lot of information these participants learned. This project was under the Supervision of Dr. Helen Tarp who is a Professor at Idaho State University. (Spring 2024)
  • Family Community Leaders of America: As a member in FCCLA I was able to prepare and present several projects. One project in particular was my "New student in School" project. With this project I received a Gold medal to the state level as well as made it to Nationals.
  • Treasurer for Pre-Health Professions Association Club @ Idaho State University: Attend meetings and communicate with other officers.
  • Murtaugh High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Captain: I was honored to be the captain and leader of the varsity volleyball team in high school. I was also awarded with "MVP" honors.
  • Murtaugh High Scholl Girls Basketball Captain: This leadership position of captain of the varsity girls basketball team was a great honor. We as a team were able to make it to the State Basketball Tournament.
  • Magic Valley Academic Allstar: This award I was presented in October 2020. One student is named the Academic Allstar of Magic Valley and is given recognition on KMVT news.
