I started at Art Moehn in September of 2020. My task include helping customers with there vehicle needs and writing them up. I am interact with the technician, get there concerns met and following up with the customer to go over what the technician has found. That includes doing the estimate on repairs and presenting it the customer. Then following up with the technician to get the repairs done in a timely matter. I close out my own repair orders and cash them out. I have hit the mark of excellence with GM the last two years. I offer help to my fellow partners and try to be a great role model. When it is slow I stay busy sweeping and cleaning up the service drive to make it as inviting as possible. A smile and friendly hello helps.

I start in the garage as a service writer. Taking phone calls,scheduling appointments, writing up customers, dispatching work to the technician, reaching back out to the customers to go over repairs, finishing out the repair orders and cashing them out. 6 months after being there I became manager which added more to my daily task. This was ordering parts for repairs, ordering stock parts, stocking the shelves and doing inventory on them. It also included tire ordering and stocking. Two years later on top of my other duties I did 75% of the oil changes,tire rotation and changing tires. I did light mechanical work also.

I started this career as a service writer. Greeting customers, writing them up,dispatched to the technician, following up with customers and cashing them out. I also worked in the parts department for about 2 years. Looking up parts for the technicians and customers. I was also in charge of calling around for parts, placing orders for the shop and body shop. I did returns and checked in the deliveries along with put the inventory on the shelves. In the slow time I would wash the shelves, sweep and keep thing tidy. I also ran the body shop for 9 months. It included writing the estimates, contacting insurance companies, doing all the paper work while working with the technician. Along with cleaning and keeping things tidy.
