Volunteer Experience

I have always and continue to be involved with local, state, and national candidates and campaigns through multi-level volunteering opportunities; from gathering signatures, participating in successful petition drives, phone banking, canvassing, and promoting candidates and social causes through social media for multiple political campaigns.


The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Mar 2024 - May 2024 

Nominated as a Visionary Candidate during a 10-week fundraising campaign raising funds and awareness on behalf of individuals and families struggling with a loved one’s diagnosis of blood cancers.

Shared Caretaker,2019-2023

My siblings and I cared over our beloved mother throughout her end of life care who fought through and succumbed to her Dementia.


Run Ducks Run Club, 2012-2017

25 students, six volunteers, one coach, and four courses to learn by and laugh through.
That's what our weekly running club consist of and the testimonials can tear down a dam with great force.


Edible Garden Club, 2011-2015

I created our children's school Edible Garden Club, thanks to Edible Schoolyard's guidance, as a teaching tool for teachers. We developed a project growing food for Servants Heart Food Pantry benefiting the food insecure.


YMCA, 2012-2013 

As a committee member to the YMCA, I implemented the children's playroom design upgrade. This allow children to create with innovative clear space both physically and mentally.


PKD Walk, 2013 

Awarded highest fundraising award for raising over 5000.00 to PKD Walk 2013


Project Angel Food, 1989-1990

Founded in 1989 by Marianne Williamson as an outreach program of the Los Angeles Center for Living which helped people with life-threatening illnesses.
The kitchen for Project Angel Food was set up at the Crescent Heights United Methodist Church around the corner from my then home. We delivered food to homebound AIDS and HIV infected recipients who otherwise wouldn't have gotten good nutritious meals due to the difficulties and limitations their bodies and the government wouldn't support.

Helped children and young adults with their preparation for swimming.
