Child Supervision & Safety

• Monitor Children: Observe and supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, and on field trips to ensure their safety.
• Maintain Environment: Keep the classroom and play areas clean, safe, and well-organized, ensuring equipment is secure and materials are properly stored.
• Emergency Preparedness: Assist with emergency procedures and drills, and respond to emergency situations if they arise.

Child Care & Development

• Personal Care: Help children with hygiene tasks, including handwashing and toileting, and assist with diaper changes for infants and toddlers.
• Feeding: Prepare and serve snacks and meals, sitting with children to encourage good eating habits and nutrition.
• Activity Support: Assist the lead teacher in preparing materials, setting up activities, and implementing lesson plans to promote learning and development.
• Social Skills: Help guide children in developing positive social skills and appropriate classroom behavior.

Communication & Administration

• Record Keeping: Assist with record-keeping, such as tracking attendance and documenting children's progress and developmental milestones.
• Parent & Staff Communication: Support communication with parents and contribute to maintaining positive relationships with families.
• Staff Collaboration: Work cooperatively with other staff members to ensure the smooth functioning of the center.

Overall Role

• Be a Role Model: Act as a positive role model for the children.
• Provide Support: Assist the lead teacher in creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere.
• Professional Development: Attend staff training and meetings to stay informed and enhance their skills.
