In this job, I keep all merchandise, gear, and supplies stocked at all times. I am checking in new merchandise that comes in as well. I am also the cashier when we have customers. When I am not helping in store, I am doing online orders and getting them packaged and ready for UPS to pick them up daily. When I am not doing either of those, I keep up with filing, along with keeping our online orders up to date. I am also keeping the store cleaned by dusting, wiping down counters, getting rid of garbage, and vacuuming. I worked this job my entire freshman and sophomore year of college, and will be continuing there my junior and senior year of school as well!
I kept all rooms stocked up with all supplies like gloves, sutures, anesthetics, goggles, etc. I would clean all tools used during surgeries and would sterilize them as well. Along with sterilizing tools, I sterilized gowns, towels, and gloves as well. I prepped anesthetics for surgeries and prepped trays as well. I would also do laundry, washing scrubs, towels, blankets, and pillow cases as well. I worked this job this past summer, along with also working over Winter Break of 2024.
In this job, I would make cookies. But there was more too it. I would prep the dough on the cookie sheets, put them in the chillers, put them in ovens, frosted them, and decorated them. If I was not prepping dough, I was doing in store orders, curbside orders, door dash orders, along with drive-thru orders as well. I would keep cookies stocked in the warmer, kept frosting and all toppings stocked as well. I also made sure that our cookie boxes were stocked up especially during rushes. I would also clean up after myself to keep a clean work space and avoiding cross contaminating. I would do dishes too. I opened and closed frequently. Over the weekends I would work 8 hour shifts and during the week they could range from 4-6 hour shifts. I would also cover for co-workers as well when needed!
