Designer of soft trim patterns for Tier 1 supplier.
Design first samples modifying plastic substrate based on wrapping conditions. Creating reversed engineered rendition of feasible wrapping Solutions.
Creating first patterns using Vinyl, Cloth, or leather based on customer requirements. Making revisions as needed to get optimized pattern from (Locating cover stock to substrate, cutting as much material cost out of material usage, Updating pattern for fit to prevent repeat plant trips)
Modifying existing patterns using manual patterning skills, or using Lectra Software, or Gerber.
Cutting cover manually or using Gerber cutter. Sewing my own one up. Validating sewing with prototype sewer near end of development cycle this preventing manufacturing issue during part assembly.
Digitize patterns into Lectra and create a release package for manufacturing.
Locally support small builds. Making sure we can build on a local platform before releasing on a global platform. Plant support for creating process flow, identifying, and developing wrapping methods using methods I’ve created or using a mixture of wrapping patterns based on wrapping personal and myself, Creating build instructions based on developed wrapping pattern, this in a picture / on hand training with a trainer, or plant wrapping personal. Pattern changes when needed. This based on patterns seen during pre productions build, or plant trips to get maximized outputs. With least rework or scrap.
Expert in design, and wrapping of parts. Solution finder. Known at work as the problem solver. Always thinking outside the box for solutions.
Work with customers on new projects. Including substrate rework to optimize wrapping flow. Eliminating problem area.
