My role at TEB Benefits is to check employees' benefits enrollment for accuracy and inputted all data. I have also developed and created benefits manuals, and presentations for our clients.

Bachelors of Social Work Intern From UTEP

Compadres Therapy Inc.
09.2024 - 05.2025
  • To obtain your BSW from UTEP, it is required to complete 460 hours of internship from an accredited agency. Here at Compadres Therapy Inc. I was an intern gaining experience and knowledge. My role was to offer the community equine assisted therapy, and aid clients in reaching their goals. I was also tasked with facilitating support groups to provide valuable services to clients. These sessions included lessons on mindfulness and compassion. The demographic groups I worked with was vast, ranging from children to veterans.

Pass Tutor

YSLETA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
08.2022 - 05.2024
  • My role at Sageland Elementary was to provide all students, from grades 1st-5th, guidance and extra support in all subjects. I was a tutor who went from classroom to classroom, aiding the children who fell behind. I provided homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials. I was also responsible for their safety and wellbeing, mentally and physically. I took care of them with all my heart as I was morally obligated to be there every step of the way for them. I was also responsible for covering classes for other teachers, lunch monitor duty, and dismissal after school. I enjoyed being a tutor very much.

Court Appointed Special Advocate

CASA OF EL PASO
02.2022 - 06.2023
  • I am a former advocate for children in the foster care system here in the state of Texas. This internship was a volunteer position. I have completed and settled a case in court. The case gave me over one year of experience. My role was to provide assessments and make recommendations to the court. I also assessed clients for abuse and neglect and reported findings to the court.

Driver A

MISTER CARWASH
01.2020 - 10.2021
  • When I first arrived, I was a production member. I was responsible for guiding in cars safely into the tunnel and sending them off. I was responsible for vacuuming cars and providing top notch service to each carpet I came across. I was also responsible for hand drying cars in Quality Control. Once I reached promotion to Driver-A, I gained more responsibilities. I oversaw driving cars into the tunnel and riding them through. I also drove cars down from the premises and parked them safely for customers to retrieve later in the day.

Crew Member

CHICK-FIL-A AT CIELO VISTA MALL
10.2018 - 06.2019
  • Working at Chick-fil-A as a 'Crew Member' meant I needed to provide outstanding and impeccable customer service to anyone who walked inside the restaurant. Being friendly was the number one priority. Daily tasks included: cutting the lemons and making lemonade. Creating the sandwiches and serving to the best quality. Breading the chicken before they went down to cook. Dropping both the chicken and fries into the fryers, cooking them for consumption. Cleaning the dining room thoroughly. Washing dishes and cleaning the freezers. Serving customers on the cash register. To work for Chick-fil-A, you needed to be versatile and able to adapt to the needs of the restaurant.

Temporary Team Member

THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT EL PASO BOOKSTORE
07.2018 - 08.2018
  • Duties at the University Bookstore meant I was very customer friendly. I was hired as a 'Temporary Team Member' and originally was only supposed to be trained specifically for the cash register. I learned how to use the cash register and later learned how to take inventory of the books. I would help customers in need of finding a specific book and I would also package online orders that would come in. I was available through the entire store and wherever they needed assistance, I was able to help. The job was only available as a temporary two-week position. The two weeks were a great learning experience though.

Research Assistant

AMERICAN DIRECTIONS GROUP
02.2018 - 05.2018
  • My role was 'Research Assistant'. My job was to conduct over the phone interviews/surveys with the American public. These surveys ranged on various topics all centered around consumerism in America. American Directions would be hired by anonymous clients, and they were kept anonymous during the research process, to void biasness. Based off the content of the surveys, I concluded that these clients ranged from political government parties to even the largest social media corporations. The clients would create their own surveys and would hand us the script they wanted us to read. Once we collected the answers and information, the data would be sent back to the clients. Because my job required me to call almost every state in the United States, I became knowledgeable in the demography of our country.
