In high school I focused largely on art, art history and painted every day. Now, I paint when time allows. Mostly landscapes.

Writing a journal is a deliberate exercise to create clear thoughts and images.

Animal rescue has been and is a primary effort on my part. Wild as well as domestic mammals. I have been absorbed with it for over 50 years.

Volunteer work has entailed reading to blind people; reading to children in the children's ward of a hospital; caring for dogs at the Humane Society; assisting with raising money for the homeless in New York City.

Nature, learning about it and participating in all aspects of it is a very strong current hobby.
