As a current culinary associate at Kettering Health hospital, attention to detail is a must, as many of my patients have very specific nutritional needs. Time management is imperative since I usually have 30-40 patients assigned to me per meal. I've also been afforded the opportunity to train multiple team members on all facets of food preparation and delivery.
As a competitive gymnast for the last 12 years I've learned the importance of time management, prioritization, and leadership from being a full time student and working out 20+ hours a week.
Demonstrated strong multitasking skills by managing multiple tables simultaneously without compromising service quality.
Trayline: Help create trays for all the patients in the hospital and make sure it looks presentable and stays in their dietary restrictions.
Ambassador: Took orders of patients with all different dietary restrictions and allergies, and delivered their trays. I also collected their trays once done eating and help clean up their tables with any other trash.
I was a competitive gymnast my entire life, so when I got the opportunity to coach and share my knowledge I took it. I coached for about 2 years, but ended up leaving to focus on working my other job more, as I wanted to go into the medical field for a long time.
