  • More than 10 years combined distribution and warehousing operations and tasks. Mentor/Lead a team of employees, responsible for timely and safe loading of incoming/outgoing shipments on to enclosed 28-53’ trailers for transportation and delivery through the Continental United States (CONUS).

  • Review work in progress and provide recommendations proposed applications and design changes. Adjust plans, assignments, and automated supply systems as necessary to accomplish and monitor systemic problems as effectively and economically as feasible.
  • Giving solutions to problems involving staffing changes, increased costs, receiving and validation of material support and work operating procedures. I am often consulted on administration supports, and FedEx business rules and ensures subordinates participation in management programs such as beneficial suggestions, quality assurance, and cost reduction.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on FedEx system reports and records for managements and customer or supplier operations feedback.
  • Counseling employees adjust informal complaints and grievances through discussions with workers and union representatives, and initiates disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Responsible for ensuring all outgoing shipments are accurate based on printed shipping manifests, transportation bills of lading, established truck routes and delivery schedules, while considering potential uncertainties, road construction and weather limitations. On occasion, additional stops are required and added to a truck route to maximize loads and minimize excessive transportation costs to the company. It is my responsibility to analyze data and make recommendations and conclusions that ensure the drivers are informed by working closely with each FedEx dock manager and receiving personnel.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) with Warehouse Management System/Database. Experienced in the daily usage of Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and fixed terminal technology. Responsible for generating daily production reports, validating itemized shipping manifests and transportation bills of lading.
  • Collects, evaluates, and summarizes performance data pertaining to specific company program goals and objectives. Lead forums and meetings to communicate ideas and solicit feedback toward improving business/customer support operations.
  • Expert technical advisor for surveillance activities. Ensures the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) is executed and that all staff members achieve the established program goals and objectives.
  • Prepare various supply and transportation documentation, using Bill of Ladings (BL) and Transportation Control and Movement Documents (TCMD), to ensure the legality for shipment requirements. Have written and prepared analysis of completed inventory actions.
  • Every year in my 10 years with FedEx Freight, I have been recognized as a top performer in production and proven ability to work well with others and perform under the most stressful conditions and deadlines, with limited to no supervision.
