Projects

  • Equalizer Project: Designed and implemented a three-channel equalizer circuit using operational amplifiers and passive filters to control bass, treble, and full-spectrum audio signals. Built and tested individual components, including a voltage follower, inverting summer amplifier, and RC high-pass and low-pass filters, ensuring accurate signal processing. Used oscilloscope measurements to analyze frequency response, verify circuit performance, and calculate amplifier gain in V/V and dB. Integrated all circuit sections and tested the final equalizer’s functionality with an external speaker and function generator.
  • Keypad Interfacing Project: Developed an Arduino Mega 2560-based keypad interface using a 16-key matrix keypad to detect and process user inputs. Configured PORTF (columns) and PORTK (rows) for efficient key scanning using bitwise operations and interrupt handling. Implemented debouncing techniques and optimized the firmware to accurately detect keystrokes without erroneous inputs.
  • Ultrasonic Sensor Distance Measurements Project: Programmed an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor with Arduino Mega 2560 to measure distances and display results in real time. Implemented pulse timing calculations to determine object distance based on ultrasonic wave reflection. Designed a user-friendly output display using a TM1637 4-digit display, ensuring clear and accurate distance readings.
  • Stepper Motor Safe Lock Encoder Project: Developed an algorithm to decode rotary encoder signals, allowing precise position tracking for lock combinations. Implemented motor step sequence control and designed a password-based authentication system for unlocking. Utilized a serial monitor and LCD display for real-time feedback, enhancing usability and security.
