• Accountable for all area operations (e.g. Donor flow facilitation, scheduling, and employee supervision.)
• Reports quality issues and procedural deviations to Quality Assurance and Management.
• Oversees all donor screening personnel.

- Phlebotomy

• Perform venipunctures and plasma collection, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Maintains proper ratio to ensure donor safety and quality of product.
• Monitors and assists center physicians with donor reactions.

- Processing Tech

• Prompt and accurate collection, storage, and shipping of plasma bottles and samples.
• Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures.

- Designated Trainer

• Administers tests to trainees in order to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.
• Adheres to teaching outline and instructional methods, such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, and meetings.
• Evaluates the most effective method for each trainee and selects teaching aids, such as training handbooks, demonstration models, and reference works, that best suit the trainee.

• Under the guidance of the Center Manager and/or the Assistant Manager, ensure that the facility is maintained in a neat and clean condition, and all equipment is kept in good working order.
• Assist in the training of new employees and retraining of current employees.
• Maintains active communication with other service areas to ensure accurate documentation and quality.
• Perform any and all tasks within the plasma center, fulfill the role of production employees, and supervise donor flow.

• Register new and current plasma donors.
• Conduct basic screening procedures (e.g. Reviewing health-related documents, taking vital signs, and performing finger sticks).
• Maintained a clean and organized work environment by disposing of used supplies properly.
