  • I was originally hired as a Accounts receivable representative to call insurances and correct unpaid medical claims, I added modifiers such as 59 and 25 and submitted medical records, filed appeals and corrected claims sent over proof of timely, corresponded with medical clinics for corrections on cpt codes and submitted referrals needed for insurance payment I also kept a log of how many claims and phone call completed on a day to day basis, I also completed other tasks such as conveyances and single payment posting I would Send and receive encrypted correspondence from the multiple Doctors offices I handled at the time. I worked in accounts receivable for the majority of my time at Aprima . Then I was moved to the Patient services department due to my experience with customer service. I handled patient payments and posted payments to the patients account when permitted by the clinic using a payment portal or easy pay merchant, I print patients receipt and mail/ email to requested location , I answered patients questions about bills they have received and attempted to resolve their concerns over the phone if I cannot assist I escalated the concerns to the appropriate department for example claims, posting, management ect. and notated the patients account thoroughly. I also do Monthly statements and conveyances for multiple doctors' offices such as Urgent care clinics, Colon and rectal clinics, Pediatric clinics and many more.

  • I was hired as a part time sales associate where I helped clients with bra sizing choosing outfits selecting the right sizes and helping customers to the dressing rooms informing them of the current sales and cashing out the clients I also had cleaning duties at the end of closing and 6 months in to the job was promoted to part time assistant manager where I did all the above duties to also opening the store I was provided a key to the store and given a code to access the alarm I would take the deposit from the night before and deposit it in the bank then come back to the store and count the till for the day I would set all the promotions up for that day and make sure the store was clean and ready to go. I would tally up our sales for the night before and get out kpi and we would have a morning pep rally over the phone with our district manager she would call out our store location and ask for our numbers for the night before and I would present them to her, we then would open the store and provide the best possible customer service we could to our clients. throughout the day I would need to be able to step to the back and receive shipment or freight from ups of new products and get those products unboxed quickly and out on the floor as soon as possible to help boost our sales. We did have a sales quota to meet at certain time periods of the day which we did strive to meet but sometimes didn't always do. But I did create way to keep it fun for my girls and keep them motivated we had a box of free items we were provided by the company and I would pick a single item for our time slot and would give that item to the girl who got the first credit card application or made the highest sale for our shift, We also did training sessions on keeping theft down to a minimum and would run drills when the store was empty. I was also head of the shoe department and had to keep the area clean and trending according to the monthly style set up we had been provided by our district manager. I also did returns and credited back sales and real women's dollars ect..
