• PIIAC- Events Committee Chair 07/01/2018- 12/31/2021, Organized meetings for 15 + people and followed up on critical pre and post event planning items. Encouraged the team to participate in idea building and strategize ways to increase attendance at events. (Increased attendance by 18% compared to prior year)
• PIIAC- Events Committee Member- 07/01/2018-10/31/2022, Worked with PIIAC to plan events on behalf of the insurance industry. Including coordinating with other PIIAC members and staff to plan and facilitate the annual Independent Insurance Agent Convention, charity golf tournament (raising over $40,000 annually). I’ve assisted in planning events annually and also volunteer at the tournament to help keep the participants moving and having fun for the cause. -While serving as a committee member at PIIAC I helped orchestrate a bike building event which drew people together to give back to a local school. Several teams worked together to build bikes for an entire class of children. Every kid was awarded a brand new bicycle and protective gear.
• Other Community Service- I enjoy being an active member of my community and I am always eager to help where I can.
• 2018- Spent time interacting with under privileged children being a "big sister." Boulder, CO.
• 2010 to 2023- Volunteer at News Health Fair as well as to the PRIDE Festival, Denver, CO.
• 2019- Organized a necessity drive for homeless mothers, Denver, CO.
• PIIAC-YIP (Young Insurance Professional)- Participate in regular networking and volunteer events including work at the Food Bank of the Rockies, News Health Fair, PRIDE Festival, Bike Building Event
• West Metro Chamber Member- Attend regular meetings to engage with community members and network with local business owners.
• 1996- Present - Softball- I play softball in my spare time and continue to work on my team building skills as a coach, a competitive first baseman, outfielder and biggest fan/cheerleader.
• 2024- Colorado Show Choir- Currently an active member of a non-profit show choir who provides glorious content for your listening pleasure.
