The boutique and spa is a very lovely place for both clients and employees. My service here has been focused on hand crafting with love our natural health and beauty products. I also bottle and label, update inventory, help customers purchase products, create and schedule appointments for the nail salon, lash and brow bar, facials as well as massage. I enjoy greeting clients with water or tea and engage them in light conversation to help them feel welcome and relaxed. Answer phone calls, reply to messages, and prep online orders. In addition to all of those tasks, I keep the sales floor tidy and clean the nail salon at the end of the day to prep the area for the next day. We must keep laundry clean and organized so the day gets busy and full of much fulfilling activities.

This business began as a franchise cleaning company in 2008. I am responsible for cleaning professional office buildings weekly and on specific days. I must maintain a clean environment for my clients to work in. I remove trash and keep a checklist of all the tasks important to keep a company sparkly clean, for their staff and guests, from scrubbing toilets to dusting blinds, or wiping a smudge off of a partition glass. I have an eye for order and keeping spaces tidy and “just right.” I also keep healthy communication with my clients as well as bill them invoices monthly. A few of my customers have been serviced by my company for almost 18 years. I am very loyal and dedicated to serving my clients.

My focus here was on the customers and their experience, to have a positive and enjoyable experience similar to a home cooked meal. The focus was on consistency and old fashioned values. I was attentive to guest, always kept drinks refilled, took and placed meal orders, delivered food for myself and other servers, did window food prep( butter, maple syrup, jelly, garnish etc,), rolled silverware, refilled condiments etc. I am very attentive and kind, we practiced always reading back the customers order as well as guest placement from seat one to the left. At Cracker Barrel they would reward the servers with a star system, I was able to reach 4 stars out of five in my few years of dedicated employment there.

Pelicans had a specific goal for the guest experience, they wanted the guest to have a long slow enjoyable dining experience. The focus was on a specific order of food, greet the table with bread and water immediately, asks for bar drinks appetizers , then return with salad and prep for appetizers. We typically wouldn’t even place an order for a meal until after the appetizer, salad and drinks were served. I saying all of this because I strongly believe in adapting the culture of the establishment I’m teamed up with. I performed all of the typical tasks a server is required to here. Took and placed orders, was attentive and caring towards guests, did all necessary cleaning and side work, was loyal and respectful to customers and staff.
