During my time at the Taos District Attorney’s Office, I provided critical operational, administrative, and clerical support to attorneys, investigators, and paralegals. My role required a high degree of discretion as I routinely handled delicate and confidential criminal data and executed essential day-to-day office operations. Additionally, I served as a professional representative for the office, managing communications and phone inquiries from district courts, defense counsel, and outside agencies while tracking court calendars to ensure strict legal deadlines were met.

In between my roles at Taos Probation & Parole and the Taos District Attorney’s Office, I maintained multiple evening positions at 575 Brewing company Working as both a server and a Busser, I delivered quality customer service in fast-paced dining operations. This transitional role allowed me to remain industrious, utilizing my strong interpersonal skills and fast-paced adaptability to ensure guest satisfaction and support a busy restaurant team
While working with the New Mexico Department of Corrections at the Taos Probation and Parole office, I provided essential administrative and operational support. My primary responsibilities focused on data integrity and security, which included entering highly confidential information into the state database and carefully organizing probationer and parolee case files. Additionally, I managed departmental scheduling for client appointments and oversaw office inventory to ensure a seamless workflow for the probation officers and supervisors.

From 2017 to 2018, I concurrently maintained a second job as a Podiatry Office Assistant, traveling between clinics in Taos and Santa Fe. This healthcare role required diverse skills split between direct clinical support and medical secretary operations. My hands-on responsibilities included capturing X-rays, sterilizing and preparing medical instruments, and directly assisting physicians during in-office procedures. Additionally, I occasionally helped with front-office clerical tasks, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities, patient care and confidentiality.
During this time I served as a Juvenile Corrections Officer at the Taos County Juvenile Detention Center. This highly rewarding role blended strict facility security with community-focused youth mentorship. I was responsible for ensuring the safety of residents and staff, managing high-profile confidential inmate records, and collaborating with local law enforcement and social service agencies to ensure proper placement and care. By combining professional boundaries with an empathetic approach, I was able to offer relatable guidance and structure to troubled youth in our community. During this time, I was occasionally asked to assist for the adult detention center as well and gained many skills from those experiences as well.
From 2016 to 2017, I served as a Cashier and Sales Associate at our local Ace Hardware at both our north and south end locations. In this role, I was trusted with daily financial responsibility, managing a high-volume cash drawer with precision and integrity. Beyond handling transactions, thisi experience gave me valuable insight into the local construction and trade industries, as I regularly assisted community members, contractors, and business owners in sourcing the essential materials and tools needed for their projects.
From 2014 to 2016, I worked at 316 Station Café, where I gained a great amount of hospitality experience across multiple front-of-house roles, including hosting, serving, and busing tables. Operating in a fast-paced environment taught me to think quickly on my feet, maintain strong organizational control over inventory, and prioritize guest safety and satisfaction. This role allowed me to develop a strong professional work ethic centered around efficiency and high-quality customer care. This job experience was also very beneficial to me as it was my first job aside from our family business and allowed me to develop professionally on my own.
