Hello my name is Aujane Luckey. I am a student-athlete in Women's Track and field at Arizona State University, I will be receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies pursuing a minor in Counseling and Applied Psychological Science. As a student-athlete, I have developed strong leadership, discipline, resilience, and time-management skills while balancing the demands of academics and collegiate athletics. I am very passionate about mental health, personal development, and helping others navigate life's challenges, striving to create supportive environments where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered.
I have plans to pursue a master's degree in Psychology with the goal of becoming a sports psychology therapist. My experiences as a student-athlete since I was 8 years old has strengthened my understanding of the connection between mental wellness and athletic performance, inspiring me to help individuals overcome challenges, build confidence, and reach their fullest potential. Through my part-time jobs and volunteer experiences, I have gained valuable hands-on experience working with children, adults, and diverse communities. Whether ensuring safety at events, mentoring students in a classroom, leading youth in outdoor activities, or serving my community through volunteer work, each role has strengthened my communication, patience, leadership, and problem-solving skills. These experiences have confirmed my passion for supporting others and have prepared me to pursue a career in counseling and sports psychology.
