I have been making YouTube videos since I was 8 years old and have them range from stop motion videos with my LEGO figures to comedic videos. From 2017 to 2019, I have worked on and completed 2 documentaries for Veterans in my community thanks to a program from my High School called Harlem's Veteran project. I also helped with the Harlem High School's news class and received their "Harlem News Network Student of the Year" award. I attended Rock Valley College and received my certificate in Mass Communication. I love collaborating with a group of individuals who love to create and share. I had spent a month as an Intern for Eyewitness News in Rockford Illinois. I now work as the lead Videographer and Video Journalist for Eyewitness News/ WTVO Channel 17, here I have trained several of their new hires along with leading training sessions on being up to speed on our editing standards.
Sent out to gather video clips as well as video interviews to use in our news broadcasts. I also edit together the news broadcasts with all the video clips that I have gathered for that day or what the producers have pulled from our file.
Spent time editing videos and assisting in shooting b-roll footage for reporters.
