Aggie Athletic Trainers' Association College Station

I attended monthly meetings where we were able to speak with Athletic Trainers’ from all over the country. These professionals are well-educated and work in different fields of Athletic Training. This organization has broadened my scope of practice and has made me take major thought into what field I will choose in the future.

Through this organization, I have gotten to work with many teams at Texas A&M. These include Football, Softball, Soccer, Track and Field, Cross Country, Baseball, and Swim and Dive. While working with these sports I have learned many things, such as how certain machines work, the art of taping, tens unit therapy, band therapy, ultrasound, and so much more.

Aggie Southern Darlings College Station Sep 2021 — Dec 2022

Aggie Southern Darlings is a well-known women’s organization at Texas A&M University. Through this organization I have learned service, sisterhood, and hospitality. We served our community by participating in events such as Adopt-A-Street, Big Event, and Campus clean up. With our philanthropy being Big Love Cancer Care, as Darlings, our job was to go around to local businesses and ask for donations. While doing this I was able to receive a generous donation from a company I personally talked to.
