Silas Isaiah Baldwin was born on August 11, 1991 ni Jasper, Alabama. He was reared there until the age of 5 and his family moved ot Birmingham, Alabama. tI was at the tender age of 8 that Rev. Baldwin knew that his life had a calling on his life from our God above. In October 2011, Rev. Baldwin became a licensed minister by the Union Baptist Church in West Blocton, Alabama, under the leadership of the late Rev. E.P. Nix. In April 2013, he became an ordained minister by the First African Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, under the leadership of Rev. Alfonso Campbell. On the 4th Sunday in September in the year of our Lord 2020, Rev. Baldwin was called to Pastor the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, West Blocton. Silas Isaiah is a product of the Bessemer and Vestavia Hills school systems, where he learned all that he could and always reached to maintain outstanding academic achievements. Silas Isaiah is a May 2016 graduate of Miles College (Cum Laude), where he received a bachelor's Degree in History with a concentration in Religion. Silas proudly graduated from Miles Law School in May of 2024 with his juris doctor degree. Upon passing the Alabama Bar Exam, Silas intends on litigating Civil Rights Law and Contractual Law. Silas ran unsuccessfully for the Bessemer City Council, District 7. One of Silas's favorite quotes come from Dr. King which states: "Not everybody can be famous, but everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service. Rev. Baldwin is the son of Wendy .L Baldwin and the father of one amazing son, Haiden C.I. Baldwin. Silas Isaiah's favorite Bible verse comes from the book of Jeremiah, Chapter 1Verse 5, "Before I formed thee in the belly, knew thee; and before thou camest forth out the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
