• Supervises and directs work activities of subordinate staff; provides necessary training; provides technical advise and assistance to staff regarding development, implementation, or monitoring of member Individual Support Plans; completes performance evaluations.
• Reviews cases assigned to work units; assesses needs and assigns cases to staff members; reviews Individual Support Plan developed by Case Managers to ensure member needs are met; ensurers assignment area is completed within established timeliness in compliance with quality standards.
• Attends and facilitates meetings, including but not limited to staff meetings, district supervisory meetings, meetings with representatives of other governmental and community organizations, and district and statewide workgroups.
• Meets with subordinate staff to assist with identifying necessary changes and modifications to Individual Support Plans.
• Develops support for the most difficult and complex cases assigned to the work unit; interviews and counsels members and family members; makes modifications to the Individual plan as necessary.
• Reviews, verifies and authorizes expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints; prepares reports relating to cases assigned to to the work unit; completes special projects as assigned e.g., conducts unit, district or statewide training as needed.

Drive a vehicle to conduct onsite visits to members’ homes, schools and/or program sites to develop relationships and to discuss service needs and supports.
• Develop, write, review, monitor and evaluate Individual Support Plan (ISP) in accordance with mandated timeliness and document individual progress and concerns, and complete appropriate referrals to community agencies.
• Research community for available resources to meet needs identified in ISP and to inform member of resource options.
• Facilitate meetings and program visits to assist with member/family choices; Complete referrals for assessed/covered services.
• Collaborate with community agencies to provide assistance and support to members and families in crisis.
