Execute public relations campaigns and strategy for 8 accounts at a time across the asset management, wealth management, and aerospace industries with billions of assets under management; specialization in credit and hedge funds.
- Cultivate reporter relationships for executives in top-tier publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Associated Press, and in trade publications such as Institutional Investor and Pensions & Investments that result in coverage and feature stories
- Develop media strategy for new spokespeople, product lines, and thought leadership by drafting press releases, building media lists, writing pitches, and setting outreach goals
- Proactively flag media opportunities for consideration, keep clients informed on industry media trends, and monitor media for client mentions
- Provide other client services including ad hoc vetting into publications and conferences, nominating executives for industry awards, and tracking media metrics
- Manage 1-2 junior staff on each account, serving as a point of review for deliverables and delegator of workflow
