Benjamin Jolly

Benjamin Jolly is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in network implementation, system configuration, and troubleshooting. He currently serves as a Lead Network Implementation Technician at Lumen Technologies, where he manages a team of eight technicians and oversees critical projects to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of network solutions. Recognized twice by the Vice President for excellence, Benjamin is known for his leadership, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative approach.

In his current role, Benjamin specializes in testing and validating automated processes, such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations, to enhance deployment accuracy and reduce manual tasks. He frequently quarterbacks stalled projects, acting as a project manager to resolve workflow issues and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. A subject matter expert, he handles escalations, performs quality audits, and makes decisions to optimize deployment processes. His daily tools include ServiceNow, Salesforce, OPS Console, and internal Lumen applications.

Benjamin holds an Associate's degree in Network Administration from Front Range Community College, graduating magna cum laude in 2016. His technical expertise is complemented by hands-on experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for Network as a Service (NaaS), automated deployment of BGP, and ServiceNow. He is also skilled at de-escalating issues through tools like MS Teams and fostering productive relationships across departments.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Benjamin values giving back to the community. He volunteered at Oxford House Colorado from 2015 to 2020, supporting individuals in recovery. His personal interests include hiking, gaming, and participating in the trading card game (TCG) Flesh and Blood as a member of Team Hammer.
