Started a business selling restaurant supplies, food service packaging and janitorial cleaning supplies to various businesses including restaurants, country clubs, schools, government facilities and other private businesses. Served over 30 customers with only two employees.

• Scaled company to over $800,000 in gross sales at its peak through cold calling accounts, online marketing and referrals.
• Achieved 30% gross profit by managing costs and maintaining competitive pricing to attract and retain customers.
• Used Quickbooks to invoice customers and pay vendors.

Managed a sales staff of 5 to sell restaurant supplies, janitorial supplies to companies that distribute throughout the West Coast. We purchased products direct from the manufacturers and sold to a variety of distributors.

• Sales in 1997 were $5mil.
• Sales in 1998 were $7mil.
• Sales in 1999 were $10mil. The business was sold. I stayed on as Sales Manager till 2003 when the business was sold again. Sales were $15mil.
