as a youth growing up in northeast texas, hunting and fishing were simply a right of passage, we hunted each season responsibly and within the guidelines of the texas game and fish requirements, we generally fished as much as possible, weather permitting, from bass fishing to trotlining, and just about everything in between, these hobbies occupied most of our time growing up, consequently keeping us out of mischief as young men, as ive grown older i tend to consistently fish for crappie and catfish.
i've coached my two younger sons primarily in baseball and football, jackson since age 3 and logan since age 7, even coaching soccer for logan for one season, knowing nothing about the sport, requiring a ton of reading and yes, youtube videos about youth soccer, i cant say we were over successful, but had a great time learning a new sport and competing.
