Route Driver

I started as a route driver delivering rental product to the customers and managing their inventories and delivery requests. I sequenced my delivery routes myself to run more efficiently. I increased business with accounts on my route by educating them on our products and services adding additional items that fit their needs. The best part of this position was being able to be outside, active, and interacting with customers, I was in this position for 3 1/2 years.

Service Rep/Relief Driver

I was promoted to this role based on my abilities as a route driver. In this role I would check on accounts and inventory their products. I would create a lot of sales by offering additional products to customer that meet their needs. I became a go to contact for accounts that were having issues with deliveries, inventories, or anything else. Anytime a route needed covered I was the primary person to cover a route for sick time or vacations, I was also responsible for training new drivers. Also while in this position I was the lead on setting up an additional route as business expanded. I was in this position for 6 1/2 years.

Route and Sales Manager

I oversee our 1 sales rep, 2 service reps, and 13 route drivers. I am in charge of hiring and firing for these positions. I coach the drivers through different issues that come up when they are out delivering. I also am in charge of the delivery accounts on the routes and setting up sub contracts with larger service companies we deliver for. During my time as route manager we have added an additional 2 routes as business is growing. I have been in this position for 1 1/2 years.


Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Warehouse/Delivery

In the warehouse I would bottle a variety of water products, as well as clean and repair water coolers. I was forklift certified and would unload semi trucks that would deliver our products.


For the delivery side I started out making a few deliveries while working in the warehouse, I started as a fill in driver for the routes and eventually took over my own route full time. I even trained a few drivers on their own routes. I was able to sequence my route to make it more efficient.
