I have worked at Erath County for over a year, during my time there I have been apart of multiple different task, shifts, activities, and stressful duties. During my time at EC I have learned to manage and file paperwork, transfer of data, and social skills through dealing with civilians over the phone and the handling of conversations and interactions with inmates. The bullet points below are just some of the multiple things i’ve learned and had to do here.
I worked for my father as an apprentice for 5 years, and once i turned 16 I became the junior carpenter on his team. When I turned 18 i became the lead carpenter on his team for a short time before eventually leaving to join my current job. I learned a lot with mechanical aptitude using the power tools, vehicles, and other things that I learned over the years.
